Basement Mail Club is a limited run (50 pack) monthly mail club which collaborates with emerging Indian artists and brings their art out of screen and into your hands!!

I started Basement Mail Club as a part of BSMNT, a visual archive documenting emerging Indian artists and art history. I started the club to celebrate emerging visual art from India and bring it out of screens. This also helps artists have a platform to showcase their work and monetize it (through the club).

Alisa Burke is a well-known artist and educator whose work has appeared in books, workshops, and galleries. The Whimsy Mail Club is her most intimate offering: a monthly envelope containing a 5x7 print of an original sketch created exclusively for club members, a personal letter, and a small surprise. Burke describes it as a creative offering where imagination comes to life outside the digital world.
