I’ve always loved the idea of snail mail. There’s something special about finding an actual letter in your mailbox. But whenever I looked for something to subscribe to, I could never quite find a topic that genuinely pulled me in.

Because my mind is constantly wandering into random questions.

Why are keyboards arranged the way they are? Why do we buy eggs by the dozen? Where did that strange invention come from? One little question can turn into a completely unnecessary research rabbit hole—and honestly, those are some of my favorite places to get lost.

So I decided to make the kind of mail I wanted to receive.

I love making things with my hands, so crafting each month's case is just as important to me as the research behind it. I wanted to bring together my love of making, storytelling, and those wonderfully pointless questions that somehow become impossible to stop thinking about.

This is for the people whose minds are always somewhere else—wondering, questioning, noticing little things, and occasionally falling far too deep into a topic that started with a simple “Wait… why?”

A short mystery story delivered every other month written by bestselling mystery and thriller author V. J. Randle. Each "post" features a special illustrative flourish and is standalone. So, magnifying glasses at the ready! 

Receive a short mystery story in the post every other month. I very much like the idea of taking things offline and having a story exist only in print form. It's brilliantly old-fashioned and I think Agatha would approve!

This isn't a commercial venture at all (I specialise and excel at business plans that make absolutely no profit). I just love writing and reading mysteries and want to spread the love in the wake of modern madness. Each edition will feature an illustrative flourish to make it extra special!
