Each edition is designed around an area of life the creator has been learning from that month, fostering a shared intention for the next 30 days. The club offers two subscription tiers: Snail Mail and Signature, each providing unique stationery items and activities to promote healing and self-reflection.

The Snail Mail subscription includes a 4"x6" postcard with thoughtful, hand-drawn art inspired by the month's theme, two playful vinyl stickers for personalizing belongings, a healing intentions card featuring a quote, journal prompts, and an activity, and a heartfelt letter from Johanna sharing her monthly thoughts and reflections. The Signature subscription encompasses all items from the Snail Mail tier, plus two sticker sheets, a bookmark to remind members of the monthly theme, and a creative activity designed to encourage slowing down and engaging with the theme, such as a coloring page or letter set. Occasionally, bonus goodies are included when the creator is extra inspired. New members joining by the last day of the month will receive the current month's edition as their first shipment. Previous editions are available for purchase at a higher price. Mail is dispatched by the first week of the following month, with delivery typically taking 1-7 business days within the US and 7-21 business days internationally. Due to the use of stamps, tracking is unavailable, and patience is advised for snail mail delivery. A 2-3 page letter of living in Sicily from my coastal lavender farm, with postcards, stickers, postage stamps,  recipe cards, artisanal soap, Modica chocolate and other Sicilian goods depending on your subscription plan. 

Letters from Sicily is a snail mail club for adults based around Sicilian-themed ephemera for junk journals and diaries. I usually write 2-3 pages every month.

I write about my life in Sicily, Italy. Trips I've taken and what I've seen, my life on the farm, and living in Sicily seen through the eyes of a foreigner. 

I write about the three extra cats we inherited that arrived one day and decided to stay. The heat this summer that has caused havoc. The unexpected gem of a place within half an hour from where we live. And the problems we face every year that no one tells you about in guidebooks - wildfires that threatened livelihoods. I also write about purchasing in an idyllic rural area, only to find out later that it was a Mafia hotspot. 

This is a window into my life on the island, warts and all! 

Basically, each month, I  reveal a little bit more about myself and the place I now call home after 12 years of living in Tuscany.
