A real story from French Polynesia, sent to your mailbox each month — small moments, everyday island life, and the things we only notice when we slow down enough to see them.

Ia ora na ,
Fenua Letters is a monthly letter sent from French Polynesia.
I don’t write about an imaginary island life. I write about the one I actually live.

Some months, the story begins with a horse, a bird, a fisherman, a river, a storm, a neighbour, or simply something I almost didn’t notice. These are small, real moments from everyday life here — not perfect, not staged, and not always postcard-beautiful.
I write them because I’ve come to realise that the ordinary things we live every day often become precious only when we stop long enough to see them.
Each month, you receive one of these stories by post, inside a real envelope, with a few carefully chosen paper extras connected to the story.
Fenua Letters is for people who still like opening a mailbox and finding something that was written, printed, prepared and sent by a real person, from a real place, for them.
No endless content. No polished travel fantasy. Just one place, one moment, one true story at a time.
Written in French and English. Sent worldwide from French Polynesia.

The Whimsy Letter Society sends monthly letters from the fictional village of Sea Oak. First begun in 1917 by a young woman writing to soldiers, and reopened in 2026 by her granddaughter, it is for readers who love books, tea, and a slower kind of correspondence.

The Whimsy Letter Society is a monthly mail club residing in the fictional village of Sea Oak. Letters from one of its residents are delivered straight to your mailbox by real, physical post.
In 1917, a seventeen-year-old woman residing in Sea Oak, Nora Whimsy, began writing letters to soldiers far from home, offering a little warmth and company across the distance. In 2026, her granddaughter, Erma Finch, reopened the Society, so that letters from Sea Oak would find their way into mailboxes once again.
Each month, members receive a letter from Sea Oak, along with with recurring features: a sticker, a card, a calendar of village events, a coloring page, and other little treasures that change from month to month.
The Whimsy Letter Society is a quiet corner for readers who love stories, community, and the old-fashioned pleasure of a real letter. The Society was reopened for those who would rather take their time with something rather than rush past it. Keepers of quiet and pause, books and tea, paper and ink.
