Letters from Sicily is a snail mail club for adults based around Sicilian-themed ephemera for junk journals and diaries. I usually write 3-4 pages every month.


I write about my life in Sicily, Italy. Trips I've taken and what I've seen, personal interactions with the locals, and living in Sicily seen through the eyes of a foreigner. 


I write about an unexpected gem of a place within half an hour from where we live. Or of small hilltop tops that are off-the-beaten-track and haven't changed in a hundred years or more. I also write about problems farmers face every year that no one tells you about in guidebooks - wildfires that threatened livelihoods. I also write about purchasing a property in an idyllic rural area, only to find out later that it was a Mafia hotspot. 


This is a window into my life on the island, warts and all! 


Each month, I  write a little more of how the island reveals herself, a place I now call home after 12 years of living in Tuscany.
