On the 15th of every month, Ms. Chelsea mails a decorated, themed envelope addressed to your child by name: an original music-class experience on CD plus digital download, an illustrated song booklet, stickers and a surprise craft. Calm, slow-paced songs built for early brain development, for ages 0 to 6+.

Mailbox Melodies is made for developing minds. Every track is an original, written and recorded by Ms. Chelsea in the same calm, slow-paced style she uses in her in-person music classes, built around emotional regulation and early brain development rather than volume and speed. The running order of each volume is deliberate: warm-up, movement, skill-building, calm-down, lullaby. No shuffle, no autoplay, no screens.

What arrives each month:
- A decorated, themed envelope addressed to your child by name, not a mailing label
- An original music-class experience on CD, plus a digital download that plays on a phone, a Yoto or a Toniebox
- Fourteen tracks a volume: sing-a-longs, mindfulness, movement, music skill building and lullabies
- An illustrated song booklet paired to the CD, with the lyrics and what each song is teaching

Kids can write back. Replies go to the return address on the letters, Ms. Chelsea reads them, and drawings from subscribers sometimes turn up in later volumes. A portion of every subscription goes to school supplies for children in need.

Hi! We're Julia and Marc, a husband and wife team and the creators of Music with Melody.

We started Music with Melody because we believe music should be something everyone can enjoy, explore, and teach. We also wanted to create an affordable, delightful, screen-free way for families to bring more music education into their homes - no music degree required. 

Instead of an app or a video series, we created a monthly letter. Each one explores a single song — its history, its story, the people behind it — and invites kids (and adults!) to listen and learn little more deeply. 

Every lesson is created from scratch. We're intentional about the songs we choose each month, typically centering each lesson around a seasonal mood or moment. Our hope is that the songs you encounter day to day carry a little more weight and meaning.
