When I was growing up, my grandmother faithfully corresponded with friends she had made while living near a naval air base. Though they eventually settled in different parts of the country, their friendships continued through the mail. Their letters were filled with everyday life—family stories, favorite recipes, books they loved, household tips, encouragement, and the little discoveries that made life richer.

That spirit inspired Mountain Post Society.

Each month you'll receive a thoughtfully curated piece of post filled with reflections on everyday life, journal prompts, seasonal inspiration, favorite books, recipes, homemaking ideas, and simple joys worth sharing. It's an invitation to slow down, savor the season, and reconnect with the lost art of thoughtful correspondence.
