Each letter comes with sheet music or a listening guide for a featured song so you can follow along! Our letters feature the history of the song and activities designed specifically for that month's song. Lesson exercises explore fundamental music concepts!

Hi! We're Julia and Marc, a husband and wife team and the creators of Music with Melody.

We started Music with Melody because we believe music should be something everyone can enjoy, explore, and teach. We also wanted to create an affordable, delightful, screen-free way for families to bring more music education into their homes - no music degree required. 

Instead of an app or a video series, we created a monthly letter. Each one explores a single song — its history, its story, the people behind it — and invites kids (and adults!) to listen and learn little more deeply. 

Every lesson is created from scratch. We're intentional about the songs we choose each month, typically centering each lesson around a seasonal mood or moment. Our hope is that the songs you encounter day to day carry a little more weight and meaning.

A magical snail mail fairy letter delivered to your child each month, filled with gentle storytelling, emotional encouragement, and small fairy treasures designed to help children ages 4–11 feel brave, loved, and deeply understood.

Created by an early childhood educator and designed to nurture emotional strength through imagination.

Our monthly Fairy Mail subscription is just one part of what we do at The Fairy Well. Everything we create comes from the heart and imagination of a teacher and a child therapist, who built a world called the Wellwood Forest... home to the Fairy Well and all the fairies who live nearby, in community with one another. Each fairy has a special gift, and each writes stories to share with children about happenings in the Wellwood Forest and the things the fairies learn from each other.

Every month, a different fairy writes home. Each mailing includes a letter, a QR code linking to an audio recording of the letter read aloud, a character card with a picture of that month's fairy and their favorite things, a small bag of fairy dust, and two more surprises that change every month. One month it might be a sticker and an activity. Another, a tiny fairy-sized treasure and a glittery fairy tattoo. Another, a friendship bracelet and a page from a fairy's diary. No two months are the same.

We don't run a recurring subscription. Instead, families choose a prepaid subscription of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months:

1 month — $10

We also offer sibling packs, which include two full sets of inclusions so each child gets one of their own.

Finally, we offer an optional companion book, "The Secret of the Fairy Well," which tells the backstory of the Fairy Well and why the fairies love writing to children.
