Each letter comes with sheet music or a listening guide for a featured song so you can follow along! Our letters feature the history of the song and activities designed specifically for that month's song. Lesson exercises explore fundamental music concepts!

Hi! We're Julia and Marc, a husband and wife team and the creators of Music with Melody.

We started Music with Melody because we believe music should be something everyone can enjoy, explore, and teach. We also wanted to create an affordable, delightful, screen-free way for families to bring more music education into their homes - no music degree required.

Instead of an app or a video series, we created a monthly letter. Each one explores a single song — its history, its story, the people behind it — and invites kids (and adults!) to listen and learn little more deeply.

Every lesson is created from scratch. We're intentional about the songs we choose each month, typically centering each lesson around a seasonal mood or moment. Our hope is that the songs you encounter day to day carry a little more weight and meaning.

Maybe Music with Melody feeds your curiosity.
Maybe it fits into your homeschool plan.
Maybe it gives you and your loved ones a new way to connect over music.

Wherever you're starting from, on whatever note, we’re happy you’re here :)

Musically yours,
Julia & Marc

Wonder Realm Post sends personalized letters from characters like unicorns, fairies and dragons to children through the mail. Parents can choose from eight different magical characters and three different reading levels. Letters can be sent weekly, twice a month, or monthly.

The Wonder Realm is the magical home of eight mythical characters—Luna, Pipa, Ember, Moss, Aelwen, Bramble, Skye and Solara—who travel all over the world. They write letters to their pen pals from each destination they visit to share their experience and the history, stories and interesting facts that they learned. The goal of sending these personalized letters in the mail is to motivate children to read and inspire a sense of wonder about the world. Each letter also comes with small items like stickers, bookmarks or mini cardboard pop out.
