Notes from the Gorgeous Kitchen is a monthly envelope of recipes, observations, discoveries and the occasional surprise. It’s a little bit of what we’re cooking, reading, noticing and thinking about — sent through the mail to people who like being creative in the kitchen.

When The Gorgeous Spice Company first began, seven years ago, part of the idea was wonderfully old-fashioned: make something, pack it up, put a stamp on it, and send it out into the world.

Notes from the Gorgeous Kitchen is a return to that.

There’s something special about receiving physical mail that feels different — especially now. And that felt like the right way to share some of the things that don’t quite belong anywhere else: ideas, recipes, ingredients, books, musings and small discoveries that make cooking more interesting.

It’s a monthly piece of correspondence from the Gorgeous Kitchen, sent with the hope that somewhere in it you’ll find something that makes you want to cook, look something up, get creative, try something new, or simply think about food a little differently.
