Writings from the Wild is a one-woman operation run by Nicole, a former homeschooling mom whose hand-drawn animal letters have shipped to over 37 countries and all 50 US states. Each letter is traditionally created with pencil and paint, featuring a different animal from a different biome each month. The premium subscription adds die-cut stickers, a postcard, and sketchbook files showing scientific classification. A portion of profits goes to wildlife conservation organizations. With over 200 five-star reviews, it is one of the most respected children's mail subscriptions available.
