“Postcards From the End of the Earth” is a monthly print-pal club where members receive limited edition wildlife art postcards and a personal letter inspired by real-life adverntures from a marine biologist based in New Zealand. Written, illustrated and lovingly packaged  by New Zealand artist and marine biologist Cassie Callard. Her stories behind the original art hand-posted direct to your letterbox.

The 2026 collection is “Letters from a Marine Biologist”. These letters are inspired by the animals, places and experiences that shaped my career in marine biology . This has been varied, from being kickstarted after volunteering in sea turtle conservation, my studies that took me around the coasts of NZ and to Australia, my time as a fisheries observer on deep sea vessels, and the weird and wonderful of marine biosecurity!

This is my unique take on an art subscription, my goal is to combine my love of getting real letters, my passion for the sea and all the life within it & calm from art! In return you get a sneak peak into the life of a marine biologist, a chance to slow down in this fast-paced world & make a new marine biologist friend!

She realized that she used to receive letters from her dad, who was and still is working overseas. Her dad left when she was three years old to give her a brighter future, and those letters bridged the gap between a hardworking father and a longing child for so many years. Now, she wants to give others the same feeling she felt whenever she received a letter from her dad when she was a little girl.

In this mail club, she will include a heartfelt letter, two stories, a sticker pack, and other curated items depending on the subscriber's chosen realm. This will be nothing less than an outlet of creativity for the creator, completely without pretension. She hopes that through this snail mail club you will rediscover your whimsy together, despite the responsibilities of adulthood.
