Every month, The Whimsical Post brings a little painted world to your mailbox: an art print from an original painting, a vinyl sticker, a sentimental wallet card and a short story from Mabel the bee and her woodland friends, plus a surprise extra or two. Each envelope follows a heartfelt theme, with original art by Jaime Small. It’s gentle happy mail for $15 a month, with free shipping in the US.

The Whimsical Post Snail Mail Club began with a simple belief: kind words and beautiful little things can change the shape of someone’s day. I’m Jaime Small, an oil painter and the artist behind The Whimsical Bee. I wanted to make the kind of mail that makes you slow down, smile and feel seen.

Each month has a heartfelt theme, and every envelope is built around it. For example, a friendship edition might bring a story from Mabel the bee, whose favorite strawberry, Gerald, goes missing until she discovers her friends have been planning a picnic just for her.

Inside every envelope you’ll find:

An art print from an original painting, in a 4x4, 4x6 or 5x7 size, so your collection grows into a little gallery wall
A vinyl sticker
A sentimental wallet card to keep, or to pass along to someone who needs a kind word
A short story told by one of the woodland friends
One or two surprise extras, like a recipe card, a bookmark, a magnet or a little art activity

Everything is designed and packed by hand in my little Pennsylvania studio, under the watchful eye of Noel, our studio cat and official quality inspector.

Each month brings a new envelope to your mailbox. Memberships are $15 a month with free US shipping, and you can skip, pause or cancel anytime. Gift memberships of 1, 3 or 6 months are a lovely surprise for someone who could use a little happy mail.

P.S. The bees are always glad to welcome a new friend.

## Unhurried Print Club
*A reason to slow down and appreciate the little moments through monthly art inspired by the seasons in Michigan*

Subscribers receive a 5x7 archival art print of an original painting by artist Mary Haapala. Each month will also feature an extra item (postcard, bookmark, etc.) and a letter sharing the inspiration and process of creating the art.

The seasons are always marching on, so don't forget to notice.

The concept of Unhurried Print Club was born in Fall of 2025 when I realized I hadn’t used my backyard hammock all summer long. I knew I needed to make a change. I started to carve out reasons to experience the seasonality of life and knew I had to incorporate these little moments into my art practice. Sharing my seasonal art with family and friends has brought me such joy so I thought I’d launch it to the rest of the internet!

I have enjoyed creating and celebrating life’s quiet moments with my subscribers through art and letters. I am a true believer that inspiration can (and should) be found anywhere (and everywhere) in your daily life. The things we forget to notice are the things that make up most of our days.

Unhurried Print Club always contains an archival 5x7 fine art print based off of an original oil (usually) or acrylic (sometimes) painting by me, an after-hours artist who loves creating more than sitting on the couch (unless a new season of Great British Bake Off is available). It will always be in the vertical format so you can commit to your display methods wherever you choose to put your new art - the fridge, your desk, or a frame! Print Club subscribers will also receive a small item based on some of my more experimental art. Usually printed on a useable postcard (but I’m not locking myself into a corner, here) I create some fresh sketchbook art to coordinate with the monthly painting. I also write a monthly letter that dives into each piece of art, its inspiration, and the intentional unhurriedness it is meant to inspire.

Slow down, put the screen down for a moment, and use both hands to open some good old fashioned snail mail. Hopefully this monthly art reminds you of the joys of each season (yes, even dark, snowy, Midwest winters) and makes sure you don’t forget to appreciate them in your daily life!

Stay Unhurried,

Mary Haapala
